WSI Oak Ridge is a great
place to work. We are recognized as the preferred protective services provider through
excellence in customer service and
performance. Our employees make
this happen. The majority
of our employees are employed within our
Protective Services Divisions. They are
Security Police Officers who protect the
Department of Energy sites and the
National Nuclear Security Administration
site in Oak Ridge, TN. Our protective
force is represented by two labor
unions, the International Guards Union
of America and the Security Police and
Fire Professionals of America, and
WSI-OR has a great relationship with the
two unions. Our protective force is a para-military force with a full rank
structure similar to a police department
or the U.S. military forces.
Other divisions that
make up WSI Oak Ridge are Training and
Emergency Management, Safety and
Performance Assurance, Finance and
Accounting, Human Resources and Support
Services.
Each division is under the supervision
of a director, and the divisions
missions are to support the protective
force.
Oak Ridge is located in East Tennessee about one hour
from the Great Smoky Mountains National
Park. There are 4 distinct seasons
in Oak Ridge, the cost of living is
relatively low in East TN, and the Oak
Ridge Schools System is one of the best
in the country. East Tennesseans
are very friendly, and there are lots of
recreational opportunities in Oak Ridge.
For any of our
vacancies, please see the list on the
left of this webpage. I hope that
you will consider WSI Oak Ridge a place to
begin a career.
